the 1st day of the camp and we have to like meet 8.45 at marina bay? which means I havta wake at like 6! gg man 1st day and already lack of slp! Took a ferry and off to St John Island! It was a fun ride and some ppl were sea-sick man -_-!! reach there and offically started camp CASTAWAY! played many stations games, water bomb and night session(awesome) and the one i hate the most during camp- Night games... totally lack of slp!

2nd day of camp and as i mention! totally lack of slp! haha but the games later on( station game and another water bomb fight! ) was enough to make u stay wet and awake! after that during even had a night session again and it was SUPER AWESOME! the praise and worship was incredible! and so were the award! Shamgar got the most united team! Jemanta( spelled wrong i guessed ) got the best hse! AND THERE WERE 4 STOOF AWARDS

Finally its time to leave the desert isolated and prison like island! most were super tired while preparing to go off but at the same time many fun and funny stuff happens! haha shall explain when i finally gets the pics up! haha

haha been ages since i last blogged so let see, wat did i do these few week

can't remember much so shall randomly post haha

went bugis some weeks ago wif mel and abu and bought a sleeveless at 77th which looks not bad on me! haha and then went to play bowling sometime last week or wif sarah and i WON!

after that a final pics and i went to sarah hse did i?

oh ya after that went to sarah hse and help her wif her math hmwork( i'm quite pro at it!( Self-proclaim *^_^* )) and she cooked mi goreng for me after i finish and her mother drove me back

haha sometime ago went to cut hair wif her at Yun's mum shop oso and ended up taking some photos which include one of me pointing middle finger unintentionally!( i'm such a good boy so i won do these type of obsence and crude stuff de*^+^* )

then after this i remember i went to shi hse for PM but i hadta leave early cause of something i forget...

other then these i almost everyday went out to play ball wif yingren wanjun david at the new shelter court there and then after ball wenting jogging( the normal boring rountine )

then last sat went to amber cell for make up cause my sis got bbq for her birthday and ended up experiencing a higher uncomfortable discipleship as the cell didn't perform well and ended up kanna scolding( still hear the words but then the "words" refer to discipleship instead of preaching haha ) then went to shelter court find mel abu ying ren they all and played basketball and at the same time eating the bbq stuff*^_^* AFTER THAT WENT ABU HSE TO TON AND ONLY MANAGE TO SLP FOR LIKE LESS THAN 2 HRS THUS CAUSING ME TO STR8 NODDING MY HEAD ALL THE WAY DURING THE WORDS TODAY BY MIKE CORNER( yunxin was holding my arm and whenever i nod off she would wake me up>( but thx anyway haha ) TODAY SERVICE WAS AWESOME i don remember going for a service that had such a high spiritual atmospher in church since i went cause the deliverance by pastor mike corner rocks man... str8 away received the calling to go down and ended up at the 1st row of the ppl( shiok sia ) haha then someone lays hands on me and didn't stop even when i was on the floor and kept continuing to pray for me! maybe god told him to? Anyway after that went tampines wif the cell and ate lunch then went arcade to play around haha( all deprive of childhood ) then shi went off while the rest wenta buy bubble tea and took a photo( shall post it tml ) before we left hm! haha got down at kallang mrt wif yun and cliffton and took bus 985 hm and me and yun was talking, chatting? or were we joking? watever laughed like mad at some part and heng she never went super high( like some drunk girl which she normally does when she is super tired )if not all the ppl on the bus willl be staring at us can haha! after that sent her hm( DON FLY ME AEROPLANE NEXT WEEK I TELL U AR ) and then went hm to catch up on my slp! totally overslept and only woke at 8;45 so ended up not going for ball( hahaha shall play tml wif u guys *^+^* )

haha its been a long long time since i last blog so i shall blog 1 time str8 wat i done for these 3 week haha!

haha lets start from

18April - its our last combine cell group as a whole W320( combine between w320 A&B ) and we had sushi for our fellowship and~~ me and Kai was in charge of it( kai became Kawaii Kaiser!! )(shall post the pics when sarah is back from malacca) haha and the cell was awesome but many was crying le... don know y haha and joshua did a great job wif the video

we were singing the brother and sister song as usual( can't remember the title as well )

so many ppl crying sia...

19April - service was usual and after the service we had the long awaited highly anticipated DONUT PARTY

Ate lots and lots of donutz which was awesome haha and before and after eating we gathered in groups of cell and went inside the children church room to play games and all group did well... haha. After that went to meet yunxin to pass her the donutz i guess and take the lappy from her to return kai oso... take bus until siao><

anyway for most of the weekdays i don think i will post abt it unless i remember wat i did haha*^_^*

25April - cell group was normal and i remembered that i left early for something which i can't remember now... hmmmm

26April - ITS THE LAST SERVICE THAT WE'RE GONNA ATTEND( NORMAL ROUTINE ) AT JURONG WEST!!!
haha service was normal i guess and then after that we went for the event called The Stage haha but i left halfway so i don really know wat it is><>

1 May - suppose to have Men conference as guys cell but due to some reasons didn't go and girls had their so called Girls conference at shi hse oso haha...

2 May - went to jurong west for service and i must say... that pastor called steve something de damn creative and funny... he all the way keep doing some solo drama which was his message and everyone was laughing throughout then after service went off wif sarah to Jp to get a shades then followed her to BPP to get wat she nid for her malacca trip! then after that rush to Jin Heng hse there to play ball wif JH JX Mel Rong haha*^_^* its was total ownage!

3 May - its our 1st ever service at expo... haha pastor steve had another message in his drama and its oso damn funny haha... after that went to play a spot zone event ( captain ball and rounders ) *^_^* even though we lost but we had fun together so its alright haha... Then later at night went to find Yunxin to pass her the shades she wants and i was a little stun cause she looks different le... hmmm anyway wish her a safe trip to vietnam*^_^* LONG TIME NO SEE STILL SO CRAZY

4 May - its sch day and also Sarah and Yunxin went off for their study trip*^_^* enjoy urself and hope u all don get lost!

these few days been playing ball everyday wif wan jun ying ren and the gang and after that went to jog on the hill and my muscles is aching like mad*^_^*

hmmm today morning 4 am slp and had to wake up at 8.30 to go meet up wif the bukit ppl to eat breakfast 1st before going expo and as usual JOSHUA PSED US again>( thx josh!!!

haha ate break wif sarah and cliff at KFC and it was not bad and paul came over to batok after reading jurong cause yun xin wasn't here yet due to the fact that i gave her wrong infomation abt the meeting time><>

AFTER THAT WENT TO EXPO AND IT WAS A LONG TRIP BUT OVERALL IT WAS QUITE FUN IN THE CAR? DUE TO SOMEONE BEING SO HIGH

haha after that service started and i was expecting a different drama and it turned out to be the same and was a little disappointed><>< ) and sarah had to travel back halfway through there to bring me which yunxin went out*^_^* ended up eating duck noodles wif sarah from the stalls at expo for the 1st time cause yunxin was going off but she ended up buying that so i had to finish it for her... the noodles was not bad but i don't think i like it cause i don like the type of noodles used( sorry but i'm quite picky and fussy at foods ) after that played zoom wif the rest and Zheng yang, seowshi, amber, sarah all kanna sabo and i must say that it was fun being the one to sabo ppl but defianlly not FUN being sabo haha*^_^* but well done for all the sabos haha after that nothing to do and went back hm!!! haha

well something makes me quite happy in the morning and something makes me quite feeling complicated in the afternoon and night

dislocated my arm abt 2 months ago and it is cause by some freaking china guy hu anyhow come bang me while i was in the air( maybe its just cause i too pro??? ) and then it just came off and all he do was look at me say sorry went back play game finish game say sorry and suddenly he disappeared from the court forever~ and ever!~

then today we played against those useless philipinos guys that are so useless and can only use underhand methods to win or cheats, ops sorry they didn't win much( cause too noob ) and they were anyhow elbowing me during the games and cause abu to twist him legs( 2 person gang on abu and when he twisted his leg they ignored him and continued to hit him in all ways and then took the ball and continued the game and all the SINGAPOREAN were shouting at them man haha its feels so shiok ) damn pek chek cause of this... somemore they totally no sportmanship de cause we say they foul and stuff and when we're talking they continue to play the game and then suddenly the score and they count it... damn it we were so angry>(>(>(

anyway just wanna make this point clear

i DON hate china and philipinos ppl and i have some great and nice friends from sch and cells, ppl like zhang jun zuo er and them all are nice ppl and great and i know a bunch of philipinos basketballer that play balls the rite way but i hate those that are playing at my court haha

haha its was a bad week for me! ok and some other ppl haha

super busy during the past week doing all the bbq stuff( making the list, buying it, transporting it and then the games for the cell ) oh man damn busy then got drama oso and i kanna scolded which made me damn pek chek so i'm not gonna mention that>( anyway bought the stuff on thurs and transported it all the way to kai hse in the dead of the night and MY FATHER LET MY LEARN DRVING AND I THINK HE'S PAYING FOR ME!!! SO HAPPY*^_^* haha

Sat- had our combine bbq which was not bad but there were flaws in it but anyway farewell for the 2 melvins and abu HU WERE GOING INTO NS THIS WEEK HAHA( BUT BAD DAY FOR LESEAN AND SARAH )

Sun- had the service and after service me, yunxin, jon and mel made our way to sarah's grandma's wakes... i don like going to wake and especially when i've been going to average 1 or 2 per year recently since pri 6 idiotic.... and anyway sarah cheer up man... its ok cause she is in heaven now haha... remember ask her help u deco ur room!

Mon- slept till late in the afternoon and go to lesean's grandpa wakes and yunxin, leon, raynon, kanghao, darren, bing da( even thought i don know him ) was already there haha... then chat around and joke a little( well its ok rite??? ) wif lesean and his younger sister then went back wif raynon and yunxin haha... me and ray accidentally make yunxin piss off so sorry la dhey>< color="#33ff33">IDIOTIC MAKE ME WAIT FOR 2 HRS haha>(

anyway when they reach i was like laughing cause mel and abu are BOTAK now haha anyway played lan games wif them together wif joshua and kai hu also came and we play battlefield and only lost 1 game when its 5vs 15 like that haha we're damn pro man hehe*^_^* anyway after that went to those hawkers in front of beauty world and ate together wif jinru oso hu came halfway haha... it was a great dinner and the trip back hm was damn hilarious( did i spell correctly??? ) haha cause we were joking around wif the pair entering army haha but its me and kai turn next year*^_^* haha after that the 5 of us got down and went hm leaving kai there alone><>

Monday - haha went out wif mel abu and wendy and treated them to sakura cause they are gonna go into ns and the whole thingy cost me $102.70 man... totally broke now so if someone is kind please bless me k... i'm always the one hu ate the least during buffets man y????? even wendy ate more than me... in fact she ate throughout the 3and a half hrs there( pro sia.... watch her miss ET videos man... its so funny or rather its her description haha *^_^* )

thurs - thursday which is ytd met sarah and yunxin for a short while to eat and walk around to find some stuff for KAI then sarah cabbed back( AGAIN!!! ) then me N yunxin walked around a bit then went to my hse get something. It was a torturous walk back now i understand the pains of parents bring their kids out!!! then went to meet shan( my BOSS ) at bishan then went to sarah hse to eat some CHEESECAKES!!! HAHA IT WAS GREAT HAHA WELL DONE FOR 1ST TRY SERIOUSLY TRY IT WHEN U GOT TIME!!! then chatted for a while(?) under her hse there by the pool( stupid mosquitos - sorry for being tOo SWEET ) then went hm haha THEN USE COM TILL NOW!!!( 4.41AM )

16-18 MARCH------ ITS CAMP UNITE!!!

haha had camp unite this week and i tell u guys it was a blast man

16march- woke up at 12 and meet jon at around 2plus to go over to chalet and help prepare for the place for cell... had cell on that night and i tell u guys the worship was good... the preaching that shing gave hit the bull eyes man... it was just wat i nidda that time... haha after that we had our cheer and also some indoors game but it was ok only.... NOW HERE WHEN THE FUN BEGINS we went to slp at 2 plus as they forced us to slp cause tml will be a long day but never in my dreams did i knew they were scheming something... they borrowed touches from us before we went to slp thus we concluded they are gonna hid something for tml games but just as we fall aslp at nearly 4 we were sudden jerk awake by the sounds of all the banging shoutings and cold water that are spray all over... all the leaders were making everyone wake up and gather outside and spraying water as we walk... it was like damn cold can... well it seems they planned a night water bomb fight which requires us to walk around and find lightsticks to earn point and while we were finding they threw water bombs and spray water at us but damien was so the very CLEVER and avoided all those bombs so i was relatively dry( poor sarah fell down and hurt her hands and legs and was make to stop playing... its looks damn pain man ) and after that finally we get to throw water bomb oso... haha even though it was late in the night but everyone played lilke mad haha it was damn fun^^ fire banana and LSL combine and vs Youth knights and team sum and the final score was .............................................................. 23VS2

we own them ok haha^^ well after that some of us help clear up and the rest wentta slp^^

HAHA DAMN SEXY SIOL! haha after that had our lunch and went out for outdoor games and had a relay sort of games and it was quite ok... every team are so friendly and cheer for ours and i shouted till mad. haha at night we had our cheer competition and i tell u its was a blast to the end of the universe haha... its super high ok... all group was like so great, united and funny ( post video tml ) and after that we had our last cell and the PRAISE WAS SUPER DUPER EXTREMELY HIGH HIGH HIGH... seriously speaking i have never went for a cell or outing wif the praise so high. the presense of god was there and was super strong and i can say tis, if all praise during cell was like this, no one would leave! haha after that we had our free and easy time and slacked a while then a GROUP of us went to the jetty and enjoyed the wind and went back to slp

18 march - woke up around 9 plus and packed and went back hm then me mel abu jon wendy jeremy chin chee elvis kanghao all went to sentosa and play basketball volleyball and swam a little... it was really fun but tiring...

19 march - went to get my pay and spent more than half of it already haha... then went to riverwale and had prayer meeting^^ went for both and the 2nd was great^^

20 march - today was really a good day but at the same time i had something good happen

thursday- anyway woke up and had to help print the notes so met sarah late and only played pool for an hr^^ haha Sarah is improving her pool man... super closed fight^^ haha then met shi and the rest under yun's blk and we ate there before going to yun xin hse for prayer meeting haha... it was only a small group that went for the prayer haha... after that went out to esplanade for pics taking wif sarah yunxin jon marcus cliffton and we ate at the hawker there before going... was super sway cause the roof was just nice closed on that day... so ended slacking at a open field... upload the pics after i got them haha yunxin was like so bored haha( chilled man )

friday - went to help sarah and yun xin wif their e-learning wif jon... didn't score very well( so sorry ) haha after that slacked around wif lappy and eating sweets^^ paul came around 5plus then we waited for the rest to come for dinner but after hrs and hrs in KAP we can't take it anymore and decided to go play pool( again*^_^* ) haha then i went off wif sarah to her hse to put refreshment stuff haha

saturday - went to sarah hse for cell and reached at 3 plus man, was gonna start cooking but ended up chatting wif sarah mums abt stuff haha and sarah was complaining abt me not helping so when jon came we started making the soups and garlie bread which was nice haha after cell fellowship a little wif UNO cards haha after that me paul yunxin and cliffton went to some hawker opps abu hse and watch man-u vs Liverpool it was a great game( 1:4 ) man-u was owned haha well done good match*^_^* to all the man-u fans that have been finding excuses like letting liverpool win for once or something like that i just wanna say 1:4 is definally not tyco but SKILLS

well technically last sat had cell and i bought kuey tu ma yam for refreshment for the 1st time and it was like wow... there's so many left haha... cell was normal as usual only raised one hand during worship( if u remember y ) and then sunday had service and wow, i didn't at any point doze off.. haha after that discipleship by shi and everyone went for the CIC classes then fellowship at best before going to Torance birthday and farewell celebration^^ oh man feel so sad for u tor... 2 more days and ur hairs will be gone*^_^* haha... bad week cause heard marcus injured his leg, rah and ter's grandma is in hospital( pray for their speedy recovery ) and somemore ppl sick but i can't remember well hu was it( sorry but i got STM )... and from my previous post ... i won EVER ARGUE WIFF A FAIRSIANS AGAIN! haha torance celebration was fun man... saw many ppl since ages like steph, jin lian, torance shanty( not sure how to spell ) and some others but as usual STM so can't remember again haha... well since my hands has recovered partially let me explain wat happen on a tragic night 27FEB2009

it was a very cold morning when i woke up... i was thinking 5 more mins please 5 more mins please at that point of time when my eyes open but i couldn't do that... i forced myself out of my bed and went to study for my test blah blah blah and so on... and then i did my test reasonably and went back hm... halfway through i pass by the basketball court and saw pearlyn david gordon they all and i decided to play ball that day which was a great mistake>.< FLEW~~~~ in the air and swinging my right arm... AT THIS POINT OF TIME MY WHOLE HAND STARTED TO HURT AND LOST STRENGHT AND THUS I HAD TO ASK GORDON SUB ME... WHILE RESTING I PRESSED MY SHOULDER AND I REALISE THERE IS NO BONE THERE!!! oh man its was all my "ba" haha totally shocked me i told my friends there and they pressed and all were like OH MY GOSH!!! haha... totally couldn't moved my right hand cause if i move the dislocated bones will like rubbed against my other bones then hit my veins and arteries thus VERY VERY PAIN... practically screaming at some part( so ma lu lor... ) haha then at this point of time very QIAO haha YUNXIN CALLED ME WHEN I JUST DISLOCATED OR RATHER REALISE ITS DISLOCATED HAHA AND I TOLD HER I COULDN'T MEET HER THAT NIGHT ALREADY HAHA... SHE DIDN'T BELIEVED AT FIRST BUT I TELL HER REALLY LA( DAMIEN VERY TRUSTWORTHY DE ) haha so she Ah Gong from W320B in blah blah blah blah blag was the first to know that i dislocated my arm... not even the ppl in the court knew yet haha so HER TIMING SUPER DAMN ZHUN SIA HAHA... and was the first to tell me take care la so really really THANK U A LOT haha... then jin xiang and rong hold my arm for me and "fu" me to my father car then passed my arm to my father then they drove me to a chinese doctor but he don dare help me so drove to NUH A&E haha... and then right it was so bumpy during the ride so very pain thus i started to pray a little haha... but its no use... when we reach NUH they put me on a wheelchair and brought me to the room and started examine here and there and confrim its a dislocation... then they injected some tube inside me so that later can inject medicine inside and make me slp then they PUSH THE BONES BACK haha... before that they took an x-ray for me AND A MIRACLE HAPPEN... they took 2 consecutive x-ray wif interval of only 30s but the 1st x-ray show a dislocated shoulder while the 2nd SHOW A FULLY NORMAL SHOULDER* THE DOCTOR CAME TO ME A LITTLE SHOCK AND ASKED ME THAT I CONFIRM MY SHOULDER WAS DISLOCATED AND THEY ASKED THE NURSES AND DOCTORS THAT EXAMINE ME AND YA.... THEY AGREED THAT IT SOMEHOW WENT BACK INTO ITS RIGHTFUL POSITION DURING THE 30S BETWEEN THE 2 X-RAY... THE DOCTORS WERE SHOCK OSO HAHA... HALLEUYAH.. WOW i prayed and father answered haha... its wasn't immediatelly but he did it... at this point of time i remember something that i dsay a few night ago "IF U WAN ME BELIEVE, SHOW ME SOMETHING THAT I CAN'T DENIED" and it show me... but next time please show me using a less painful method haha... SO DON TEST OUR FATHER MAN OR CHALLENGE HIM HAHA... ANYWAY SO THE DOCTOR SAY THAT THEY CAN'T AND NID NOT DO ANYTING THUS THEY DISCHARGED ME 2 HRS LATER BUT I'M BANNED FROM SPORTS MAN... AN Oklahoma man who was about to have his organs removed by doctors after they declared him brain dead says he feels "pretty good" four months on. Zach Dunlap, 21, was pronounced dead at United Regional Healthcare System in Wichita Falls, Texas on November 19 after he was injured in a quad bike accident. His family gave approval for his organs to be removed for donation. Defination of brain dead

Brain death is a legal definition of death that emerged in the 1960s as a response to the ability to resuscitate individuals and mechanically keep the heart and lungs working. In simple terms, brain death is the irreversible end of all brain activity (including involuntary activity necessary to sustain life) due to total necrosis of the cerebral neurons following loss of blood flow and oxygenation. It should not be confused with a persistent vegetative state.

Traditionally, both the legal and medical communities determined death through the end of certain bodily functions, especially respiration and heartbeat. With the increasing ability of the medical community to resuscitate people with no heart beat, respiration or other signs of life, the need for a better definition of death became obvious. This need gained greater urgency with the widespread use of life support equipment, which can maintain body functions indefinitely, as well as rising capabilities and demand for organ transplantation.

Today, both the legal and medical communities use "brain death" as a legal definition of death. Using brain-death criteria, the medical community can declare a person legally dead even if life support equipment keeps the body's metabolic processes working. The first nation to adopt brain death as a legal definition of death was Finland in 1971. In the United States, Kansas enacted a similar law earlier.[1]

A brain-dead individual has no clinical evidence of brain function upon physical examination. This includes no response to pain and no cranial nerve reflexes. Reflexes include pupillary response (fixed pupils), oculocephalic reflex, corneal reflex, no response to the caloric reflex test and no spontaneous respirations.
It is important to distinguish between brain death and states that may mimic brain death (e.g., barbiturate intoxication, alcohol intoxication, sedative overdose, hypothermia, hypoglycemia, coma or chronic vegetative states). Some comatose patients can recover, and some patients with severe irreversible neurologic dysfunction will nonetheless retain some lower brain functions such as spontaneous respiration, despite the losses of both cortex and brainstem functionality. Thus, anencephaly, in which there is no higher brain present, is generally not considered brain death, though it is certainly an irreversible condition in which it may be appropriate to withdraw life support.
Note that brain electrical activity can stop completely, or drop to such a low level as to be undetectable with most equipment. This includes a flat EEG during deep anaesthesia or cardiac arrest. However, the EEG is not required in the United States, but is considered to have confirmatory value.
The diagnosis of brain death needs to be rigorous to determine whether the condition is irreversible. Legal criteria vary, but it generally requires neurological exams by two independent physicians. The exams must show complete absence of brain function, and may include two isoelectric (flat-line) EEGs 24 hours apart. The widely-adopted Uniform Determination of Death Act in the United States attempts to standardize criteria. The patient should have a normal temperature and be free of drugs that can suppress brain activity if the diagnosis is to be made on EEG criteria.
Alternatively, a radionuclide cerebral blood flow scan that shows complete absence of intracranial blood flow can be used to confirm the diagnosis without performing EEGs.

Medical science argues that a permanent cessation of electrical activity indicates the end of consciousness. Those who view the neo-cortex of the brain as solely responsible for consciousness, however, argue that electrical activity there should be the only consideration when defining death. In many cases, especially when elevated intracranial pressure prevents blood flow into the brain, the entire brain is nonfunctional; however, some injuries may affect only the neo-cortex. The case of Zach Dunlap, in which a man was declared brain dead but later recovered and remembers the doctors pronouncing him dead, [16] questions this presumption. However, since he was declared dead only a few hours after presentation, he did not yet meet the American Academy of Neurology's brain death criteria. [17] While Dunlap was being disconnected from life support four hours after the pronouncement, one of his cousins, Dan Coffin, who is also a nurse, found he was responsive to pain, demonstrating that he was alive, [18] so this example is questionable.

I. Diagnostic criteria for clinical diagnosis of brain death
A. Prerequisites. Brain death is the absence of clinical brain function when the proximate cause is known and demonstrably irreversible.
1. Clinical or neuroimaging evidence of an acute CNS catastrophe that is compatible with the clinical diagnosis of brain death
2. Exclusion of complicating medical conditions that may confound clinical assessment (no severe electrolyte, acid-base, or endocrine disturbance)
3. No drug intoxication or poisoning
4. Core temperature ≥ 32° C (90°F)
B. The three cardinal findings in brain death are coma or unresponsiveness, absence of brainstem reflexes, and apnea.
1. Coma or unresponsiveness--no cerebral motor response to pain in all extremities (nail-bed pressure and supraorbital pressure)
2. Absence of brainstem reflexes
a) Pupils
i. No response to bright light
ii. Size: midposition (4 mm) to dilated (9 mm)
b) Ocular movement
i. No oculocephalic reflex (testing only when no fracture or instability of the cervical spine is apparent)
ii. No deviation of the eyes to irrigation in each ear with 50 ml of cold water (allow 1 minute after injection and at least 5 minutes between testing on each side)

iii. Euvolemia. Option: positive fluid balance in the previous 6 hours
iv. Normal PCO2. Option: arterial PCO2 ≥ 40 mm Hg
v. Normal PO2 Option: preoxygenation to obtain arterial PO2 ≥ 200 mm Hg
b) Connect a pulse oximeter and disconnect the ventilator.
c) Deliver 100% O2, 6 l/min, into the trachea. Option: place a cannula at the level of the carina.
d) Look closely for respiratory movements (abdominal or chest excursions that produce adequate tidal volumes).
e) Measure arterial PO2, PCO2, and pH after approximately 8 minutes and reconnect the ventilator.
f) If respiratory movements are absent and arterial PCO2 is ≥ 60 mm Hg (option: 20 mm Hg increase in PCO2 over a baseline normal PCO2), the apnea test result is positive (ie, it supports the diagnosis of brain death).
g) If respiratory movements are observed, the apnea test result is negative (ie, it does not support the clinical diagnosis of brain death), and the test should be repeated.
h) Connect the ventilator if, during testing, the systolic blood pressure becomes ≤ 90 mm Hg or the pulse oximeter indicates significant oxygen desaturation and cardiac arrhythmias are present; immediately draw an arterial blood sample and analyze arterial blood gas. If PCO2 is ≥ 60 mm Hg or PCO2 increase is ≥ 20 mm Hg over baseline normal PCO2, the apnea test result is positive (it supports the clinical diagnosis of brain death); if PCO2 is <>

He said: 'Brain death must be certified by two independent doctors who have got the appropriate qualifications. That usually means they have specialist degrees and they work in hospitals or specialised institutions where they come into contact with such patients.
'And they must not be involved in the care of the patients or be part of the organ transplant system.
'That's necessary for eligibility.'
Two such doctors have to conduct the tests separately.
Also, before the tests are conducted, the patient's body must be cleared of any drugs that could affect the results of the tests.

DOCTORS can now remove a brain dead person's liver, heart and cornea, in addition to the kidney.
And they can do this without getting the permission of the dead person's family.

Organs may now be removed from all who are brain dead, in other circumstances also, unless they had opted out or they are Muslims who had not opted in.
The transplant ethics committee at each hospital will decide whether to allow a transplant from a living donor.

Ytd Met up wif wen qi to help her study after not seeing her for so long and it was torturous trying to teach her... plz be prepare if she asks u questions haha... was teaching her maths halfway when i received a phone call from adeline then darryl told me that JORDON was in hospital ICU and in coma wif 90% brain dead... totally SHOCKED ME MAN... went to visit him today in NUH and was totally sadded to see him lying inside there... its a really really really sad sight to be taken in... folded some stars and cranes wif the rest and went back at around 3plus...

Darryl called me at 5 and when i saw it, my heart totally like dropped can cause i scared is bad news and sure enough he told me that the doctor confirm jordon to be brain dead and even surgury could not help man... oh god... a young healthy fit and clever 19 years old boy is now like a dead person... just thinking abt his condition and his parents makes me sad man... oh man... wat can i do...

haha had my CNY week and it was like so boring can pratically didn't do anything for the past week and like been eating snacks titbits and stuff like that until sore throat... didn't get much ang baos oso( which is like the worst thing that can happen during chinese new year haha ) haha then played around 6hrs of mahjong wif my cousin and won some moneys( they were like scolding me can haha ) haiz and then went out wif mel abu to play ball,mel to sher's house , sarah to ikea( met leon and darren there *^_^* )( took taxi there somemore ) and also yunxin to town to get houga( did i spell correctly? ) then sunday is service haha.

haha today had no activites on as there's no cell thus went to yun xin hse to test the dvd player*^_^* sad to say her dvd player is spoilt so there only sounds but no images( can hear cannot see ) so yunxin ended up going to her neighbours and borrow a dvd for our cell ( thx a lot girl ) and then it was alright:D Sarah came halfway and she and yunxin was like going crazy and mad making stupids noises and shouting and screaming lo but Sarah said that it was NORMAL for them( oh my gosh can... then wat is their crazy and insane mode??? ) -_-!!! after that went to beauty to get their stationaries and files and it was like bullets every where can>.Yunxin was getting her revenge for that day where she went hm full of holes haha after that we went to eat and halfway there i said "there! that her shop" to Jon and it was a mistake. yunxin realise wat i was talking abt and insisted on going there and there they saw someone( stupid idiot bom bom me!!! ) then they so called praised me for having taste... thx ar sarah and yunxin*^_^*. haha after all these we finally went to eat. haha went to watch this movie wif yun xin on the 1st day of the year. haha PONYO( the main lead which happen to be a part goldfish and has a human face ) is like super cute can? Pure and innocent unlike us human haiz. Yun xin was like crazy everytime she see ponyo and she will go singing the theme songs even though she only like know the 1st sentence haha... nevertheless it was a good movie so guys that are free go watch it!!!

haha let me start from 3 days ago where we had our weekly sunday service at jurong point. Well the service was cool and it ended super early around 1.50 instead of the usual 2.30plus which shocked me. sang a friendship songs for the ending(super nice the atmosphere *^_^*) but i ended up getting angry for nothing during the lunch so ya... i scolded ppl and stuff( so sorry amber,shi and josh)

lols then monday i went to queenways wif sarah and mel intending to change my shoes which i ended up not doing so thus we go all the way there to eat curry chicken only( sorry mel and rah!!!!) then went to play ball( it was a bad day)

Then finally on tue had my 1st CGC class today... had our appreciation( for me terecia ) well gave her present and oso a super nice speech by me( aren't u touch ah ter??? ) haha then we had our steamboat before i go off hm while the rest went to bugis to eat!!!
